How Labouchere works
The common version starts with a number sequence. The next stake is the sum of the first and last number. A win crosses off those numbers. A loss adds the lost stake to the end of the sequence.
This is only a stake-size method. It does not change roulette probabilities.
Why target framing is risky
Labouchere can make a target feel precise, but a target is not a forecast. The sequence can expand after losses, and the money at risk can become much larger than the original target.

On a European roulette even-money bet, the win probability is 18/37 and the loss probability is 19/37. Labouchere changes bet sizing, not the underlying odds.
