How to decide whether a bonus should be activated at all
Use this page to read bonus terms before activation, not after funds are already locked. This is not a top-bonuses page, a code-pushing funnel, or a guarantee that bonus funds will credit smoothly.
Bonus preflight checklist
| Term | What to find | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Wagering base | Bonus only or deposit plus bonus | Changes the real playthrough burden immediately. |
| Game contribution | Slots, table games, live dealer percentages | Low contribution can multiply the real burden. |
| Max cashout | Dollar cap | A low cap can erase most of the upside. |
| Expiry | Hours or days to finish | Short windows can make completion unrealistic. |
| Payment restriction | Excluded deposit methods or withdrawal lockups | Funding choice can change eligibility and payout options. |
Bonus types and common traps
Deposit match
Check whether wagering applies to the bonus only or to the deposit plus bonus. The same headline percentage can hide very different burden.
No-deposit bonus
Check max cashout and verification requirements before assuming it is free value.
Free spins
Check spin value, eligible games, win cap, and whether winnings are later wagered again.
Activation-risk matrix
| Condition | Why it matters | Safer next action |
|---|---|---|
| You need a fast withdrawal soon | Bonus lockups can delay or block cash-out flexibility | Skip the bonus or read payout rules first |
| You mainly play excluded or low-contribution games | The real burden may be far larger than the headline multiple | Model the terms before activation |
| The max cashout is low | The cap can dominate the economic result | Do not rely on headline bonus size alone |
What happens after activation
After activation, the cashier may separate cash balance and bonus balance, restrict withdrawals until wagering is complete, and invalidate the offer if you change methods, exceed max-bet rules, or use excluded games. That is why the reading step belongs before the activation step.
When to skip the bonus
- You need a fast withdrawal.
- The max cashout is low compared with the playthrough burden.
- Most games you actually play are excluded or low-contribution.
- You cannot finish before expiry without increasing risk.
Model the terms only after reading them
If the terms are clear enough to model, use the narrow tools only after you know the wagering base, contribution, and cap rules.
Next step
Continue to the withdrawal step only after you understand how bonus status affects cash balances, wagering, and payout flexibility.
