Nevada's main licensed-gambling age is 21—but one number does not answer every age and access question. The 21+ rule covers casino games, slots, poker, sports and race wagering, licensed online poker and collection of gaming winnings. A separate 18+ threshold applies only to a charitable lottery offering a cash prize.

As of July 21, 2026, Nevada's minimum age is 21 to gamble in casinos, play poker, place sports, race-book or pari-mutuel wagers, use licensed interactive poker, or collect gaming winnings. Charitable games also require 21, while a charitable lottery offering a cash prize uses an 18+ threshold. Nevada has no state lottery. Under-21 resort access, hotel check-in, accepted ID, account verification and geolocation are separate property- or operator-specific checks; an adult cannot place or collect a wager for an underage person.
