Reno-Tahoe is a four-market Northern Nevada gambling region, not one casino district. Reno, Sparks, South Shore and North Shore use separate NGCB reporting areas, while California-side Lake Tahoe is outside Nevada's state gaming jurisdiction.

As of July 19, 2026, Reno, Sparks and Nevada-side Lake Tahoe are licensed in-person gambling markets; core casino, sportsbook and poker participation is generally 21+. The March 31, 2026 NGCB inventory lists 56 nonrestricted location records across Reno, Sparks, South Shore and North Shore Lake Tahoe, with 15,992 slots and 449 table games. Lake Tahoe crosses the Nevada-California line, so exact location controls mobile wagering and poker access. The snapshot does not prove every game or room is currently open.
