Is sports betting legal in Nevada?
As of July 19, 2026, Nevada permits retail and mobile sports wagering through licensed race books and sports pools. Sportsbook account information may be entered remotely, but identity confirmation for a Regulation 22 sports-wagering account generally requires government-issued photo ID presented in person to the licensed book or an approved affiliated location. The user's age, exact book, accepted wager, house rules and physical location still control; an open account or app does not prove a wager may be placed outside Nevada.
